Old Whitby Ad

Scarborough's greatest artist, Lord Frederic Leighton. Born in Scarborough to a wealthy family, had a privileged start in life, studying in london and later received artistic training. He was the first person in england to receive a peerage, unfortunately he died the following day of a heart attack! the shortest peerage in history.
